Dianne Cohler-Esses

Dianne Cohler-Esses is a trailblazing Syrian Jewish American Rabbi who has made significant contributions to the field of Judaism. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, she broke new ground by becoming the first Syrian-Jewish woman to be ordained as a rabbi, achieving this milestone in 1995 through the Jewish Theological Seminary.
