Kurt Rudolf Fischer
Kurt Rudolf Fischer was a philosopher of Jewish-Austrian descent, born in the city of Vienna. His early life and career were marked by significant geographical displacements, driven by the tumultuous events of his time. In 1938, Fischer made the decision to emigrate to Brno, which was then part of Czechoslovakia, in search of a more stable environment.
Fischer's relocation to Brno was, however, short-lived. As the political situation in Europe continued to deteriorate, he once again sought refuge, this time farther east. In 1940, he emigrated to Shanghai, a city that, at the time, was a haven for many displaced individuals and families. Through his journeys, Fischer's experiences were undoubtedly shaped by the complex interplay of cultural, philosophical, and political factors that characterized his era.
