Gertrude Stein

Gertrude Stein was a prominent American author, born in 1874 in Allegheny, Pennsylvania. Her early life took her to Oakland, California, where she was raised. However, it was in Paris, which she moved to in 1903, that Stein would establish her home and cultivate her literary career.
